Posca pens on rocks

Rock painting

Working on the surface of rocks is much more difficult than in even paper. The surface is not flat, there are holes and imperfections and each surface absorbs the paint differently, often leaking the colors.

That's why using quality pens makes all the difference and Posca pens are my favorite brand. Paint comes out easily, tips are resistant and perfect for details. They are a good option for a smooth, paint-like effect. Depending on your style you can choose fine or extra-fine point.

One of the reasons that I love to use markers on rocks is that it's way easy to write words with them than with brushes. Second, pens rule out the use of palettes, water, brushes, cleaning paper and everything else that involves the use of paint.
