Rock found!

Two days ago I went shopping and when I noticed that the car besides
mine had a step, I left a rock to the driver.
One day after, I got this adorable mail from Patrice.
Thank so much for sharing your thoughts and feelings with me!

Dear Word Rock Giver,

Thank you for my beautiful rock!  I love it.  If it's okay with you, I would like to tell you the story that led up to me finding my rock.  Until today, I had never heard of Word Rocks.  On January 14th, 2015, I awakened early (5:30am) to go to PIHOP (Pacific International House of Prayer).  This is a special place I go to, periodically, to connect with God's heart.  It only occurs on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 6-8am.  I had a beautiful time worshiping God, praying and writing in my journal.  He showed me some areas of my life I needed to surrender to Him; I did that.

I was headed back home after I left the prayer room.  I was contemplating whether or not I had time to go to Trader Joe's before my exercise class.  I was praying about it and sensed God telling me to go right then and not wait until later.  Even though I had a tight window of time, I felt like He was telling to me that I would have enough time. I believe He knew about the surprise I would receive and the timing was important.

I went straight to the back of the store to say hello to my friend Stephanie Thurlow, the lady who gives out samples.  I then picked out a beautiful orchid and birthday card for my friend Georgette who I was taking out to lunch that day to celebrate her birthday.  I was not in the store more than 10 minutes.

I quickly dashed out to my car so that I could stay on schedule.  As I went to get into my car, I saw something bright and beautiful. It was a rock with a bird painted on it.  The bird had a cute heart balloon being held by it's beak.  I picked it up and looked at it.  I was wondering how this incredible and delightfully wonderful surprise had landed on the running board of my car.  I was so relieved when I read on the back that I could keep this amazing treasure.

I don't know if you pray or not before giving out these gifts, but I know for sure that the Father directed your steps to my car.  I feel that this rock was a sign from heaven and a confirmation of the work He did in my heart while I was in the prayer room.  I love birds, and I love bright colors.  I will hold on to this rock and remember it was a symbol of God's love for me. The Bible says that, "God is a rewarder of those who seek Him."

Thank you so much for this gift.  I am truly honored to receive it.

If there is any way that I can pray for you, please let me know.

Blessings,

Patrice Reynolds"
