When our fence was renovated nearly two years ago, my husband kept the cut pieces (which would be discarded) for me. He knows how much I love to reuse and upgrade these materials for "craft with a purpose".
So, that's how I created magic and turned an old piece of the fence into a message of love!
Supplies used

Directions:
Paint the design you want using acrylic paint. Use the heat tool to dry the first coat more quickly. Repeat the process to paint the second layer. Dry completely with the heat tool.
Use a very soft pencil (I like 4B) and a ruler to lightly write the sentence you chose.
Hold the tube of puffy paint firmly to cover the quote.
